Essential Questions
After reading the story to the students, students should know.
What kind of animals where in the story?
In whqat order did the lady eat the animals?
Objectives
After the teacher has read the (The Lady Who Swallowed The Fly) story to the students, students should be able write the answers to the questions dealing with the events that happened in the story
Tools and Resources:
Computers, internet, students notebook and pencil
Rationale
This lesson is to show that the students can recall what happened in the story using technology to help find the answer.

Sequence of Lesson: Beginning – Middle – End
Methods of Instruction
Have the students use the computer, students will click on shortcut link on the computer to take them to the Filamentary web page.
Anticipatory Set
Students should be able to answer questions by accessing their memory, but if not the students will have a link to obtain the answers by re-reading the story on the link.
Beginning of Lesson (connection between anticipatory set and new lesson/ learning – setting purpose)
1. The teacher will announce to the student to line up at the door because they will be visiting the computer lab. The students will line up in alphabetical order like they do normally. (If not the children will let you know by complaining and telling on themselves.)
2. Once to the lab and students are seated. The teacher will instruct the student not to turn on the computer until being instructed to. Then the teacher will give the instructions on what the students will be doing by reminding them that they have read the book the Old Lady Who Swallowed The Fly and that they will be answering questions about the story
3. now the teacher instructs the student to turn on the computers
Middle of Lesson (connection to previous lessons/ new lesson/ learning- information)
1. When students get the computers on the teacher should remind them to click on the link to go to the assignment.
2. As the students are completing the assignment they will bring the written answers to the teacher to have the answers checked
3. If the student has completed the assignment the teacher will let the student work on the computer based learning program that the students have access to.
End of Lesson (Conclusion – connection to future lessons/ learning and recap of learning)
1. As the last student has finished the teacher should allow the students no more than ten minutes to work on their computer based learning programs
2. Once time has ended in the computer lab the teacher will have the student’s line up alphabetically at the door.
3. Once the students have lined up the class began to head back to the classroom.

Assessment
Students will navigate to the Filamentary web page by clicking on the link and write down the answers to the questions the teacher has created. Students will have to navigate the links provided to answer the questions
